how the city feels to fly over when the lights are on how the heavy lifts from my shoulders when my stomach drops
and i’m gonna land in your borough you’ll have the lines laid out and i’m gonna have on no armor (i’m older now)
and I wont make you any promises i’ll stay however long the night allows
how this used to be the corner i called you crying in my car now it’s gonna be the corner i throw myself into your arms
and im gonna land in your burrow you’ll have the lines laid out and im gonna have on no armor (i’m older now)
